Hi Families!
That’s a wrap on Day Two! Campers were excited to learn more about sewing & sketching! Thank you for dropping off your kids on time and prepared for camp today. Below are what your kiddos learned today with photos from the day:
Littles (ages 6-11)
The day begun with an fashion accessories relay game where campers worked together.
Learned the importance of building a mood board and finding inspiration for their future brand.
Practiced walking with confidence like a model for Friday’s Fashion Show.
Then, introduced the sketching a croquis and sketching garments on them as well.
Teens (ages 12-17)
Learned the importance, history and how to measure a croquis sketch and practiced sketching fashion illustrations.
Introduced to sewing machines with special instructions from South High instructors.
Began their latest project on the sewing machine - the zipper purse project.
Went through the Goodwill sponsored garment shop for fabrics to create their garment for the Friday Fashion Show.
Reminder to have your child bring a light sweater or jacket since the building does get chilly! We will provide a nut-free snack and a water stations for campers each day, but they must bring a refillable water bottle.

Important Information About Friday’s Fashion Show:
Littles (ages 6-11) will have their show first, followed by the Teens (ages 12-17)
Littles Show starts at 11 AM, doors open at 10:45 AM
Teens Show starts at 3 PM, doors open at 2:45 PM
Limited to two guests per camper due to the size of the venue.
Following the show, campers will be released.
